"This is a basic, no-frills old property that has aged well. The rooms are plain, and nothing but coffee in the office for breakfast. I am a traveler who looks for a clean place to sleep and shower; the frills don't matter. This fits the bill for someone who would rather spend their money on other things than frills in a room they will sleep in and be gone from in 12 hours. In cities, cheap hotels attract an element to stay away from, but that type is not touring the back roads of West Virginia."

"The breakfast was good. Juice was not watered down. The blind on an inside door was broken into several pieces. We had to leave it pulled up. & One of the drawers was also broken. We didn't need to use it, but it came apart when we opened it. The bed was comfortable. So, that was the biggest plus. We had been told it was the nicest room in the motel (not by the motel management), but, I don't think it was. Room 101 is the room we stayed in."

"Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, staff was attentive. Took a horse and buggy ride in the evening was wonderful."

"Absolute Mogelpackung, die ganze Anlage ist total versüfft! Das Zimmer hatte schon lange keine Reinigungskraft mehr gesehen. Im Badezimmer waren deutliche Spuren vom Vorgänger, inkl. vollem Mülleimer und deutlichen Überbleibsel auf der Toilettenbrille und überall drumherum."

"After experiencing a schedule mishap due to our own fault the Owner/Manager as well as Front Desk staff showed us grace and kindness by opening a room for us last minute. The property and rooms were well kept; pool was clean. We will certainly return next year for another stay. Thank you to Dave and Alexis!"

"It was cheaper than most hotels and we just needed a bed for the night and it was clean . It seemed to be an old hotel they remodeled some we had a kitchenett rm. with a king bed no hair dryer 2 bath towels wash cloths hand towels . Tv was antenna so not much to watch. Said it had a outdoor pool but it was covered .over all it was ok for 1 night."

"My only complaint was that they didn’t offer a full size mirror and the bathroom was a bit small but overall stay was pleasant and I enjoyed the balcony overlooking Coastal Highway"
