"Perfectly located recover from a transatlantic flight in preparation for boarding a cruise departing from the nearby cruise terminal. It is also right next to the train station for easy access to the rest of Portugal. We found some nearby restaurants and touristy stuff to keep us busy for the few free hours that we had. The hotel was nice and the staff very accommodating."

Breakfast had a decent variety of hot foods (eggs, sausage, bacon, beans, mushroom etc) and cold foods such as yoghurt, fresh cut fruits, breads/toast and mini pancakes. Also a good variety of hot and cold drinks. We had a ground level room with 2 floors - double bed and a sofa bed, and one bathroom. Toiletries, towels and a hair dryer were provided. Iron has to be requested from reception and returned after use. Plenty of outlets for charging electronics. ...

"The property is well situated, spotless, comfortable and the staff and breakfast were very good. There aren't any fancy facilities but well equipped gym for a quick work out for the day. Usual hairdryer, toiletries provided. Room cleaned every day and beds and towels replaced. Only one small thing is the rooms aren't huge but its a city break so perfectly adequate."

"My wife and I had a lovely stay here. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was a good size and had a good view over the gardens and river. The staff were wonderful and the service was excellent.
