"A lot to say about this property We selected it because it was an in-between location for our activities: downtown StL and Six Flags. Lots of historic architecture for miles in each direction, which I liked. A bit of a trip to I-44 and I-64, took probably 10 minutes one way, the only drawback to its geographic location. "Live mice in upstairs bedroom and in kitchen cabinet. Soiled blankets and sofa. Dishwasher had standing water and smelled horrible as did the entire first floor. Did not feel comfortable using anything in kitchen due to mouse droppings and other sanitary issues. The first night we saw a mouse upstairs and contacted the host, the response was “is it still there?” No empathy, no apologies. It was a poor night of sleep for the entire family as we worried.
