Top Miyanoshita Hotel Reviews

Hakone Kowakien TEN-YU

10/10 Excellent

"Property was serene and peaceful. Rooms were comfortable and really enjoyed our private onsen. Breakfast and dinner were both remarkable."

Musashino Bekkan

10/10 Excellent

"We were an extended family of seven. We had half board included. The experience of staying in a ryokan was wonderful. The breakfast and dinner served to us in our larger room was both generous in portions and delicious to taste. The children were given partial portions of the Japanese menu which they enjoyed. The service from all staff was gracious and friendly. The onsens were so beautifully located outside but were quite hot! We couldn’t fault our stay. What was wonderful for us was the skies cleared after days of rain and we saw Mt Fuji above the clouds. Who could ask for more! I highly recommend a stay at Musashino Bekkan."

Hotel Indigo Hakone Gora by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel itself is excellent. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are huge and beds are comfy. In room onsen is barely large enough for 2, but still a nice feature. Public spa area was great when we were there. Had the place to ourselves at 7am. Might be less pleasant when busier. Only downside really was that we were only there for one night and it was heaving with rain. As a result, didn’t really do any of the things we planned. One note, and this is mentioned on the website, there is construction happening right across the river from the rooms. It won’t last forever but might be worth checking in the near term if that’s something that might be of concern."

Hakone Ashinoko Hanaori（ORIX HOTELS & RESORTS）

10/10 Excellent

"It has a quality 4-star feel. We did the 40-minute private onsen and had one in our room. The buffet, including all you can drink, had a good variety of Japanese and Western options. It’s close to the pirate ship and ropeway if interested. Otherwise, it’s remote, but that was important to us. We’ll be back."
