"Room was spacious, clean. Location was great too. Bonus point: you have bakery connected to the hotel if you want to get some quick breakfast and coffee. "

"We found the apartment’s lighting was too dark because of dark color of walls and not enough of lighting fixtures. Besides the fixtures are spot lights type so that certain areas were not covered. "Staff great, food was great, location was easy enough to navigate, but I wasnt expecting a taxi into the city 10 minutes away would cost $30. I loved the amenities, I really just wish they were open longer especially the spa. The check in and check out process was quick and easy. This is my first time in Iceland so I don't have a comparison. I would appreciate more items in the snack area such as souvenirs, a better selection of alcohol, and a microwave. Yes I wish the rooms had a microwave."

"Overall, a great location and amenities. The only downside was that it seems that the heat in the rooms is always "on" and even with the window open, it was a bit of a sauna. Typically, when it's colder, this is probably ideal but we had two gorgeous days and so I ended up sleeping in the common area. But definitely a value for the money and a Ramen vending machine topped it all off!"

"Our stay was comfortable. Only two points I would make is that the rooms are quite warm in the summer as there is no air circulation and only one small window. It made it difficult to sleep at night. And if you order breakfast as part of your room rate, note that it is a bag of baked goods from a local bakery. "The rooms are clean and comfortable. The sinks vary a lot room by room, with some that are perfect and others that barely trickle any water at all. The upstairs shower is much better than the downstairs one. Breakfasts are great! And parking is always available in their lot or nearby."

"Nice, renovated hotel. Hotel is staff less and door codes were supposed to emailed 24 hours ahead. None were emailed until I reached out about them. No elevator or help to carry luggage up 2 flights. Paid for late check-out but housekeeping not informed of this, so they came in as I was partially undressed, about to take a shower.
