Not for me

I booked this is a rush as my normal hotel was full. Unfortunately it was very comfortable, high end student digs by the looks but didn't have a window to open so was very hot, bed was small and single low quality pillow. Wouldn't be staying again.

Student accommodation, not really hotel

The apartment was clean and tidy, everything you need is there. Staff pleasant and helpful. Down side: student apartments, wasn't clear in description. Room extremely hot, air conditioning either switched off or not working. No opening windows in the apartment. Students in neighbouring rooms music a little too loud but this did not go on too late. Would not have booked venue if I'd have been made aware it was student accommodation, hotel price but not hotel environment

Nice Apartment

Nice room however not very much to it. We had the superior deluxe and it was very basic. The bed wasn't too comfortable and you had no control over the air con which left the room very hot. You also cannot open the window. However it wasn't that bad and was pleasant enough. The facilities on site though were amazing. Having a cinema, a games room and communal room was quite cool. Location was very good as well The staff were also really good. So overall I'd recommend a stay here.

Un peu trop chaud!

Le plummer house est très bien situé, l'appartement en Lui-même est très cosy, très agréable! Le seul hic est l'impossibilité d'ouvrir la fenêtre qui fait que l'on étouffe un peu, en début août malgré les les basses températures dehors il faisait extrêmement chaud dans l'appartement ... trop chaud! Sinon tout le reste était vraiment nickel, pour un court séjour cela fait largement l'affaire!

Would stay again

The first room we were given was too warm but we were changed to another cooler room so the service was fantastic. Very spacious, clean, friendly gentleman receptionist, good location, great price. Would stay here again.

New to Newcastle

My first week in Newcastle so far has been wonderful. Thanks to the wonderful staff, Jade and Lee, at the Plummer House. They have all been very helpful with directions and answering any questions that I may have. It is such a central location that I am able to walk anywhere within 15 to 20 minutes. I was able to take part in the local festivities without having to take any public transportation so far. I am close to the Central Station if I decide to venture out. There are lots of stores and restaurants nearby that there is nothing they don't sell in Newcastle. I love it especially Quayside where I have been running every morning and climbing stairs.

Room far to hot, useless fan and windows that don't open. Dusty worktops. Booked a room for 2 but only one bath towel and 2 small milk cartons. But the heat was unbearable.

Good central location but no nearby car park. Nearest NCP is a few minutes walk and cost £15 overnight. Large room but very small bathroom.

Schönes Haus mitten im Stadtzentrum.

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter am Empfang. Sehr modernes Zimmer mit Kitchenette und Dusche/WC. Alles da, was man benötigt für einen Städtetrip. Das Haus liegt mitten im Stadtzentrum und es ist trotzdem ruhig. Zu Fuß nur 10 Min. zum Theater, Restaurants und Pubs sowie zur Metrostation Grey's Monument. Zum Fluß Tyne (Keyside) rd. 15-20 Min. zu Fuß.

Clean room with kitchen area in good location. I didn't realise this was Student accommodation, so not what I was expecting. Please note there is no restaurant in house.

Best hotel I have ever stayed at.

My stay in Plummer house was absolutely amazing, the best service I could ask for, bought us up spare pillows when we asked, friendly staff who were always available when needed. The local area is amazing we went on a walk down the quayside as it's easy to get to, all in all was an amazing night and Plummer house made it all that more great! Thank you so much!! :D

The staff are great and helpful. Pictures need updating and you cant use the gym. There also is no free parking, but if you park on the road its cheap enough

The hotel is excellent for the price you pay. Your room contains everything you need and provides you will comfort. Although aircon is definitely needed as it gets hot at night in the rooms

Modern apartments close to City centre

The apartment is part of a modern student living facility. The one bedroom studio was small but functional. It had a kitchenette and shower room. Our room was on 5th floor, quite a walk through building and across a small courtyard from reception. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Some attention to detail was lacking in setting up for next occupant; the kitchenette had mugs and cutlery that needed better washing up, an empty twix wrapper in a cupboard, and was one dinner plate and knife short. There was also only one set of towel when the room had been booked for two adults. A quick walk back to reception remedied the towel shortage.

Great base for exploring the city

Clean, modern room. Conveniently located close to Grey Street and city centre. Students do live here, but you wouldn't know it, quiet and very well maintained.
