"Look it was a hell of lot cheaper than what I could find. I had no problem with the place although I can see why people would have. I wanted somewhere to crash and have a shower. Stayed for four nights. If you want quality look elsewhere, If you want friendly staff, good breakfast, a clean bed and a reasonable bathroom you can't fault it."

"we only stayed here for 5 nights but property had everything we needed the kitchen was well equipped with a hob, microwave/oven, dishwasher and washing machine so ideal for longer stays. bathroom had walk in shower with good water pressure. Hotel is situated in the center of the town a short walk from the train station and close to shops,restaurants, pubs and also about 10/15 min walk to Brighton pier "

The windows do not shut properly, single glazing, so you could hear the crackheads arguing on the green opposite. Very narrow staircase, which was a struggle with large suitcases and no lift. "We have stayed at this hotel several times before. It’s a great location in Eastbourne. The bed was clean and fresh and the breakfast very tasty. However, it is very tired. Our room was very disappointing- damp on the ceiling, one light fitting in the en-suite was hanging out of the ceiling and 2 other down lighting bulbs did not work. There was no heating in the room and it was needed. Also, there was no BBC on the very small and inefficient TV."
