"Excellent ryokan with a wonderful breakfast. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always available for any request. The breakfast was traditional Japanese and served as a multi-course meal with a great variety of dishes. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Gion, with many of the main attractions within walking distance."

"We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was extremely attentive and the hotel was modern and very clean. It looked nice in the photos, but it is nicer in person. Location was great! very close to the train station which was very convenient. Also close right in the center of all major shopping and restaurants, yet it was quiet and private in the back of an alley."

"I really love that the staff was so nice. The rooms were very very clean. I was also able to enjoy a private Hanson. I have lots of tattoos so it was nice to be able to go into one. I also have a 15-year-old son who wanted to try and on and really wasn’t prepared for the whole experience if you know what I mean. So he went into the private one as well. It is perfectly located and I actually love that town. I had a really good time. The people are so sweet."
