"This was such a great experience in an incredible part of Kyoto. We were greeted the moment we stepped through the front door by amazing staff who took our bags and kept them secure until our room was ready. The breakfast the next morning was incredible, it was one of my favorite meals in my short visit in Japan. If you are looking for a peek of Japanese tradition and amazing service, this is your place to stay. "

"Ich wollte unbedingt einmal in einem Ryokan übernachten und habe mich deshalb für diese Unterkunft entschieden. die Unterkunft an sich ist sehr schön. Die Nacht war dann doch etwas anstrengend auf dem Futon. Später hab ich mir aber einen zweiten aus dem Schrank darunter gelegt. Die Gegend würde ich als sehr ruhig beschreiben. Man muss mindestens einmal Bus und Zug fahren, um direkt nach Kyoto zu kommen. Aber dennoch kann ich sagen, ein Aufenthalt in diesem Ryokan lohnt sich durchaus."

"お部屋、お料理、温泉、スタッフのサービス全て心地よかったです。利用客からの声を真摯に受け止めて改善されてきている成果を感じます。行き過ぎたサービスではなく、宿泊客がリラックスして過ごせる環境が整っていると感じました。平日利用だったので、尚更かもしれませんが。趣の異なる浴場も満喫できました。電車利用のアクセスも良く、気軽に行ける温泉でありながら非日常体験。次は坂本や比叡山観光を含めしっかり計画を立てて行きたいと思います。"

"On our recent trip to Japan we wanted an authentic experience staying in a ryokan. We were greeted by an extremely attentive staff who whisked our luggage away to our mountain view room. We received hotel slippers and were given a tour of the hotel. Our modest room had a low table and chairs with a tea service, a private bathroom, tatami mat floor and yukata robes. We had 3 hours until dinner so we enjoyed the private onsen nestled in the forest overlooking the forest. For ¥4000 ($27) this...

"Hotel is phenomenal! Staff go beyond to make sure you are catered to. The hotel is rustic and beautiful, rooms are super nice. The onsen was great! Couldn’t recommend this place more."
