"Our room was on the 3rd floor and we were not told there was not an elevator. The sheets and blankets had holes. One cake of soap was provided. It was the size of a quarter and was for 2 people for 2 days. The mattress was very uncomfortable with a dip in the center. The furniture was very worn with torn chairs. The hotel does have a good location."

"This is our third stay with Ramada. The Beachcombers tiki bar is so awesome and the pool is so nice but… the mattress we slept on last night was not the most comfortable and I do understand that everyone has different preferences when it comes down to mattresses but we barely slept… well vacation is not for sleep, right ? but we are exhausted. Other than that we loved it! Please upgrade your mattresses 🙏 "

"Staff were friendly and very welcoming. We found a few maintenance things that they sprung into action to take care of. We were in a suite with a sitting room. The room was quaint and offered a wonderful outdoor porch. The only con to our stay is how uncomfortable the bed was. It was hard and spring filled which kept us tossing most the night with lack of comfort. We left before breakfast, so we aren’t sure how that was, but it smelled good! "Tub was chipping, light bulbs burnt out and on the stand some one mented something and they never bothered to clean it. We had to sweep as soon as we got in the room. Just not because of sand. I wouldve given a higher score if we did not pay 1295.00 for 4 nights. Also we had to take out the trash and go get towels. Too boot I booked this room almost 2 months ago and every other booking agancy had the rooms for 4 has $500 less than Expedia. Which normally are very good to use. The staff was...

"Jet spa was nice and warm on a cooler spring weekend but the jets were not working. Pool was clean but cool. The Lifesaving Station food was good and the wait staff was great! Fireplace in our room did not work and despite notifying staff on Friday evening when we arrived, no one ever came to work on it by the time we left Sunday at lunch time. The resort hosted a fairly large (200 guest?) wedding Saturday, and there was a lot of trash left all over Sunday morning. "

"I've stayed in several of the "main" hotels on Ocracoke and this was my favorite stay! The room was incredibly clean and housekeeping came by daily to keep it fresh. Quiet but also conveniently located. A great stay especially for families with kids!"
