"It is an old building—which is understandable—but the stay was uncomfortable; there is no elevator, and the balcony door wouldn't close properly a cockroach even got in during the night from the balcony, the door finally shut in the last night but the next morning we couldn't open it at all; we struggled so much that we eventually gave up and headed to the airport. I wanted to have a coffee on the balcony overlooking the gulf one last time, but it wasn't possible. The service was good, There is a small and very functional kitchen, though the cabinets from the kitchen needs better cleaning including the stove, the phone didn't work, and the TV was broken (though they did replace it with a new one). There is a gas station across from the hotel, but a lack of restaurant options. The view of the Gulf of Mexico is lovely, but it rained heavily during our trip, so unfortunately it wasn't a pleasant vacation; my advice is to check the weather forecast before booking a package. That balcony door was a real headache, haha. The staff were very pleasant and ready to help; I had to pay to have my luggage carried up, which is understandable given the lack of an elevator. If you’re a laid-back person, this place is great for you; the pool was very clean , to rent the umbrella and 2 chair is $40 and the boy was very friendly and professional and Uber is a good option if you don’t rent a car."

"The staff were all very friendly and helpful! The best part about this hotel is the location and direct beach access. You can tell that at one point in time the property was a very beautiful place to stay. With that being said the rooms and buildings were very outdated and in need of minor repairs. The check in process was a horrible experience that lasted hours even after the timeframe given by the app, booking details and staff. I will say that the staff do a FANTASTIC job at getting you a parking pass and allowing you to enjoy the pool and beach while you wait. The staff all get my thanks on being patient and kind during what was a VERY busy check in. I could not do what they do and I appreciate their kindness as other people checking in were not as kind. I traveled with a range of college aged kids to age 8 and we all felt safe whilst having a fun and memorable vacation. For the affordable cost the stay was still well worth every penny."

"Although one elevator was out of order. The elevator people were on site actively working on it. Everything seemed to just flow. No issues. No loud obnoxious people. Everyone just seemed to be enjoying themselves. The staff and other renters. This is how hospitality works and should be a precedent for the other places to learn and follow. Great job to all the staff"
