Went to this hotel because of its proximity to the Louis Vuitton Foundation - I was going to the David Hockney exhibition. It was perfect for that - a 15 minute walk but it was in a lovely area with lots of small restaurants and a Franprix very close by. Easy to get from CDG airport (change from RER to the metro at Chatelet). I will use the hotel again when visiting Paris - a welcome find.

Close to the Arc de Triomphe

The hotel is nice and modern and not far from the main tourist attractions of Paris. It was clean and spacious. Only negative was there didn't seem to be any hot water.

Safe neighborhood, great public transportation (Metro 1 is just around the corner), many dining options even a supermarket nearby. All staff are very nice and friendly. Clean room, a bit tight with luggages but many storage shelves helped organizing stuff. Secure underground parking (€20/day) is 2-3 min by foot. No problem with mid size SUV. WiFi works good. Nothing luxury but everything we needed was there.

One night in Paris!

Our stay at Hotel Charlamagne was extremely pleasant. We were there for a night but we were catered to very well. We arrived way later than the check in time and the staff were professional and welcoming. As we were with a baby, we asked for a baby cot in advance and it was given to us with no issue. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. The staff were polite and very helpful. Needed to keep our buggy safe and they did so again without issue. I would say the lift was quite small but it was working so thats a win. Overall a great stay and in a very central location.

Great staff, room newly decorated and clean. Lovely hotel generally. Just to be aware, there was a little noise from the bar across the road late evening and early morning moving chairs and tables. We only heard the noise because we had the window open as the room was very warm and air con appeared to be switched off. Would recommend this hotel as very reasonably priced for room and breakfast.
