We reported the issue and were moved to another apartment, which we appreciated, but there was no apology for the situation, no acknowledgment of how unpleasant it was, and no compensation for the food that had been contaminated and had to be thrown away. "We were on a budget graduation trip to mount Tamborine and this was the best choice I made! Worth the money and beyond expectations. Although I thought the entrance was shady, we all had a good night sleep. The room was well maintained and all necessary amenities. Wish they had a pair of toothbrush and toothpaste. Other than that, it was a great stay. Definitely recommend!"

Tamborine is busy in the day, but fairly quiet in the evenings. Having said that - later in the week there are still several choices open for eating and drinking at night, including The Manor.
This is a historic building, so some fixtures / fittings are old, just so other visitors are aware."
