"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was safe. Pool was clean and warm. Water dispenser was broken. Beds were clean and comfortable. The property was well kept and absolutely beautiful at dusk when the outside lights turn on. Feels like you're not even in the city. (Except we heard gunshots at about 2:45am) There's no fridge or microwave in rooms which was a bummer but they did have an ice machine. Overall great stay and will probably be returning someday."

"I love the brand experience. Standard and funky accords the world. I would not stay in these rooms with another person though unless you are only using the room to sleep. It’s really small. Perfect for a solo not for a couple. Sad they had to be acquired by Marriott. Hope they are able to keep their unique style and not get flattened by corporate. Will def stay again in San Francisco and elsewhere. Great location."

"It’s essentially a motel and you get exactly what you pay for. It’s well situated in the city. I stayed on one of those weeks where there was a convention and my usual hotels are ridiculously expensive, Symphony was exactly what the doctor ordered. On a weekend with overpriced hotel rooms I would stay here again. Clean. Safe. Affordable all the time."

"For the price paid, it was what I expected. It was a place to sleep, shower, change clothes, and they have coffee in the lobby in the morning. "Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the hotel itself has a great vibe and beautiful design. One thing that would have really elevated the experience would be having the terrace open throughout the day so guests could fully enjoy the property. It would have been such a nice place to relax, read a book, or enjoy coffee. The terrace was typically only open after 5 PM. "All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and informative. Rooms were clean. Only problem was room was a little stuffy could use a better a/c unit luckily I had brought a small fan for us which helped us stay cooler."
