"room was spotless and cleaners came every day. The room itself was nice and had all the equipment available in the kitchen. Shower was poor and eventually water completely stopped and had to change room. Shower not much better in that one. Pool is not bad, however gym is not good and spa section of pool not working. Wifi is slow but ok. Location is good."

"The bartenders “El Ruso” and Natan were great along with every other staff. The DJ at this resort had the most boring music playing. The stay at this resort was nice and relaxing, however, we wanted more fun. The music was bad, at times needing something more upbeat. I will not stay at this respite again for the sheer fact that I was bored during my stay. While I want r to relax, some fun here is greatly needed. Maybe I chose the wrong resort for my “Fun” and “some relaxation” all at once. Natan and “El Ruso” thanks for your attentive service and every other staff that I can’t remember their names. I would like to add that my rooms were always clean pool was clean however was 4 foot something - don’t recollect how deep. The gym was nice, however , didn’t use it. We were close to La Quinta Avenida, that was nice."

"This resort is very lowkey, if you’re traveling and don’t wanna be seen (wink wink) this is the place for you! The food was delicious and it’s in a walkable area. Shops not far and the ferry to Cozumel is about a 15 min walk"

"We were three families in three rooms. We each had a penthouse room. We would all return to this resort. We had one problem and high spots: Problem: Family penthouse room had two A/C units that barely kept the room below 80F/27C. Staff couldn’t repair the A/C units so one family had to change rooms. High spots: 1) Hector at the El Templo restaurant is a good cook and entertainer. Worked hard to keep everyone engaged while he cooked up a tasty meal. 2) Fanny, Rafael and Kevin helped make our son’s birthday celebration exceptional and a very memorable event. 3) Jorge the bellman somehow remembered us and in which building we were staying. He is a hard worker, friendly and a friend. 4) The concierge team - they smoothed out some minor issues with our reservations and other issues. Made minor problems, non-problems. 5) Our room was kept clean, tidy and the minibar was stocked daily. Some helpful notes: 1) Be careful what you leave on the balconies. This is an eco resort and the monkeys are curious. Similarly, the coates (Mexican raccoons) will go through your belongings if you have food in them. 2) All the staff, from groundskeepers to housekeepers to wait staff were friendly and helpful. 3) In several areas, the buffet out shown the specialty restaurants. Skip the buffet lines for breakfast and go to La Toscana. 4) The evening shows are nice. Get there early for a good seat. The Friday evening street market is nice, too, with good street food."
