This was our second time staying at Grand Sunset Princess and it did not disappoint. The resort has so much to offer and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive.

I did not left a 5 stars reviews due to the following reasons although overally it was a nice vacation for us. 1. Unorganized and insufficient internal transit bus 2. A few missings inside the room like toothbrushes cop, Shampoo wall mounted container inside the bathroom. 3. Insufficient trash bins in the room 4. Queen size beds were not standard size and smaller than that like double bed so we are as a family of three could not sleep comfortably.

This resort is pretty good and once we got used to the facilities we had a blast! The staff is really nice and helpful, but not always efficient. We had to switch rooms because the first one they put us in had a strong and overpowering musty smell. It took them a day to figure that out for us and they ended up putting us in a smaller room, but the smell was much better so we gladly took it. Following this, the concierge team checked in and took care of us. We were also handed off from the check in staff to a time share staff who told us he was there to help get us settled. He said he was going to take us on a tour of the resort the next day and offer us prizes and a complimentary massage coupon to celebrate the resort’s anniversary. This all turned out to not be fake and the next morning he picked us up and took us straight to the time share office and we walked away. The time share staff are typically hanging out in the lobby and main square in white shirts. Outside of these things, the food is pretty good and the facility is nice. The beach is not great, we much preferred the pools. The water slides are fun for kids and any of the shows taking place outside in the main square at night are a must see! We woulf gladly return if we get the chance.

The hotel is very lovely, and the staff are very friendly; however, there are a few details that need improvement. The coffee shop does not exist and alcohol selection is limited depending on your status, despite being advertised as all inclusive— which is unfair and misleading. The Kids' Club for small children should be open in the morning rather than from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, as that is typically naptime for young children. The person who created this schedule likely does not have children of their own. The meals were very tasty, and the rooms were very comfortable. The beach, however, was quite unsightly due to the seaweed, and even unusable on some of the days. Aside from the mountains of seaweed at the waterfront, the beach is incredibly rocky. There is also no drink or food service on the beach, which was an inconvenience.

This resort was definitely worth the money! Food was good, many different options especially in the buffets. The rooms were clean and housekeeping did its thing every morning! The shuttle was available 24/7 which was a plus especially with a toddler. Many activities throughout the day for the kids and families.

Abril 2026. Recién remodelada. Habitaciones con muy buen estilo. Excelente comida. Muy variado. Todo excelente y precio accesible. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Amazing resort for our family vacation (2 adults, 2 children aged 4 and 11). Beautiful property with lots of wildlife; every square inch of it boasted life and amenities. Massive resort but continuous shuttle service made navigation easy. Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be visiting again!

Everything was fantastic! The food was incredible, various options, accommodations to food allergies, multiple options for pools, plenty of chairs, great beach. We will definitely be going back!

Waterslides left white marks on all our swimsuits. They basically denied that it was the slides and didn’t offer any remedy. Said nobody else had reported it. Happened to 5 of us. Otherwise great amenities for families. Could use more umbrellas around the kids pool.
