"My stay at grand serenis was very enjoyable. We had a little issue with our first room, and was quickly fixed by the hotel staff, by giving us a different room. All the staff were extremely friendly. The pool and the hotel was awesome. My kids being 9 years old and 4 years old had an incredible experience. The night shows were so much fun to watch, aswell as the activities for the adults and the kids during the day. The excursions were an incredible experience. The food was excellent at the buffets. The waitress at the buffets were extremely friendly, and knowledgeable. My entire family absolutely fell in love with our waitress at the buffet. Her name was Ana! She was an absolute angel to have serving us. She made us feel like we were truly a part of her family. She did an amazing job at accommodating us to a table for six people even if there weren’t any tables for six people available. She was by far the most amazing person we met on our trip!!! My children are still saying how much they miss her!!! Treating us like her own family was over the top experience for all of us!!! In all my travels over the years, I’ve never experienced that type of hospitality she offered us!!! I would definitely stay there again in the future, and can’t wait to see Ana again!!! I truly have never met hotel staff like Ana!!! She’ll be remembered and talked about by our family for years to come!!!"

"We have stayed at all Excellence properties, so we were excited to try a Finest property. We stayed in the Excellence Club which is adults only. The experience was a 10/10! We started each day with a beach bed set up by Algenis. He is the best! Always a smile and so friendly! He spoiled us our last day with champagne and sand art! Gilberto was a top notch waiter at breakfast and dinner at Brass. Rony was the best bartender in the club bar. Be sure to get his special espresso martini! The staff was friendly and always greeted you with a friendly hello. We will definitely return!"

"Most of the rooms are about a 20-minute walk from the lobby. There are a few golf carts that are supposed to take you there, but we still found ourselves waiting more than 10 minutes most of the time. The food was good on most days. The staff wasn’t very helpful. If you don’t specifically ask for help, you probably won’t get any. This applies to everything from getting your luggage to your room (they left ours at the lobby for hours) to getting directions to the gym (which is actually closed, so you have to go to another resort about a 20-minute walk away). There also isn’t enough seating around the pool. If you wake up after 9 AM, you probably won’t find a spot in the shade. Throughout the resort, you’re constantly approached by locals and staff trying to sell you things — at the pool, on the beach, and even while walking from your room. It gets pretty annoying. But overall, it was a nice experience."
