"Staff is phenomenal! Restaurants are mostly “try to be good” and “look good” but only 2 of them are really nice. The Grill and the VIP one. Breakfast buffet is also very good. Rooms are very good and clean 2x a day- bed were made and towels changed, but 2x a day clean and didn’t have the floors wiped or mopped and I had sand. Room service is excellent 24/7. I just give it a 4 star because: -sauna is just for the spa where massages and treatments are from $180 - restaurants are bad for lunch and better for dinner - Punta Cana location but they play country and American music the pool- what a bummer if you want to get away from America and have a DR experience. Big bummer for us. - night activities are very tacky like most of the resorts- but I think this could be different. Live shows and singers; I found only the Dominican presentation very nice. Furthermore, drinks are great and vast variety. Again, staff is amazing. Be ready to tip them! "

"Very happy with my stay at Live Aqua Punta Cana. The hotel was beautiful and the customer service was outstanding. The food and drinks could have been a little better — I would recommend using more natural and organic juices instead of imitation juices, since many of them contained too much sugar. When visiting the Caribbean, I expected more fresh tropical juice options. That was my only complaint. A special thank you to my butler, Mr. Smerlyn, who provided exceptional customer service. He checked on me every day and always made sure I had the daily program and activities schedule. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends."
