"Parking is a big issue in this place, its an extra 25 pounds a nite. Parkings outside (the street) are only with coins. The receptionists the day of the arrival weren’t pleasant at all, one of them helped me as I couldn’t figure out how to park outside but the other wasn’t even kind enough to even guide me to my room when I asked her to repeat the instructions.I was given a room that took me two different elevators to get to. "An excellent location off the Royal Mile. The room was spacious, and the in-room washer/dryer made our trip easier. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was a Sainsbury nearby for groceries. This room (#4) faces the back courtyard and church - we found it very light-filled yet without street noise. There is no elevator, but the steps were easy."

"Excellent location by Hollyrood Palace. Well equipped kitchen. Larger bathroom than most of our lodgings. Although space was limited for 3 people, it worked. Two of us used a large bathtub in a room adjacent to the bathroom to organize luggage. Excellent king bed."

"The location was in a prime location. Many restaurants directly across the street. The breakfast offering was very generous with many choices and very good. The rooms were spacious but no a/c in room could make it for some sticky nights. Be aware a/c is available throughout the hotel but not in the rooms. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Certainly a good option if location is your focus."

"Beautiful hotel with small but perfectly formed rooms. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the castle which was tiny but lovely. The bar area is fantastic and the Whisky Bar was our downfall (thanks to Dario who is an expert!) Will definitely return"

"Loved how stylish and clean this hotel was. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We stayed only one night, but the size of the room and the mini kitchen would have made for a very comfortable multi-night stay. The 24 hour coffee and complimentary croissants in the morning. were much appreciated."

"Amazing spot right near the castle. We loved everything about this apartment. The only downside was doing a load of washing as the washer dryer goes for about 5 hours so we had to take wet clothes to our next destination. I’d suggest to the owner buying a dryer on its own. Apart from that it was perfect"
