"Good parking spaces behind the property, very clear information about finding the property. The apartment was spacious, very clean, lovely decor and very comfortable. We got some advice on where to find a nice local pub, and ate in the centre close to the property. Overall absolutely lovely."

"Luxurious room! We splurged for the nicer room and wow! Wonderful staff, good beer selection. We needed to leave early the next morning so the chef packed us a picnic breakfast with lots of fruit, a blt sandwich, crackers and jams and cookies. Ate it on a hill overlooking a field of sheep and the town below. So memorable!"

"The house is a charming old building, but relatively far away from the city center and the nearest restaurants. You have to walk a good 15 to 20 minutes to the center. The first room we got was spacious and had a nice view, but the heavy old curtains and the old seating furniture were so full of dust that I had trouble breathing. The bed frame was full of stains. "Queens is a lovely hotel, we used to stay at 131 but got fed up with the noise from below. Old school traditional hotel ideal location for town. As far as we are concerned it ticks all the boxes. We didn’t get the opportunity to eat there but I’m sure we will on our next visit. Joe on reception was very informative and friendly."

"Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too."
