"We enjoyed a lovely quiet and comfortable room in the Santrian club building, with easy access to the beautiful, peaceful pool (no one under 15). Breakfast offered a tremendous selection of fresh foods, juices, teas and coffee, with great beachfront views of the ocean. We made use of the new gym, which was well-equipped and spotlessly clean, as well as bikes available to guests to cruise along the beachfront path along Sanur. Staff were very friendly and helpful whenever needed."

"It really is a great spot. the location / front entrance isnt ideal as it is on the highway and there is no sidewalk for pedestrians - its fine but you need to be alert. - you dont hear the traffic at all. Staff was wonderful, we did have issues with our ac unit spitting water all over our floor - the staff delt with it but it took away from the last few hours of enjoying the room. we had to also request towels for the pool - not a big deal, but nice if we didnt need to go to the lobby wet. the complementary foot massage was AMAZING after a long day of travel, and the complementary coffee and breakfast was something to write home about top shelf!! I would give this place a 5 star but the price vs needed maintenance and dropped my rating."

"Maya Sanur is a beautiful hotel in a lovely beachfront setting. The location was one of the biggest positives for us, with direct access to the beach and boardwalk, making it really easy to walk along the seafront and explore Sanur. Our room was spacious, modern and comfortable, and we particularly liked having his-and-hers sinks in the bathroom. We were also conveniently located within the hotel, which made getting around very easy. We arrived at around 1pm and completely understood that check-in wasn’t until 3pm. We were told we would receive a message when the room was ready, although this didn’t arrive until around 3:15pm, so it felt slightly pointless. Our key card also didn’t work on the first attempt, but this was quickly sorted. A couple of minor negatives were the noticeable whining noise from the LED mirrors in the bathroom and the lack of air conditioning in the open-plan communal areas. One thing we really appreciated was the service on our final day. After checking out, we were able to leave our luggage and return later to use the spa facilities to shower and change before our evening flight home. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms and an excellent beachfront location."

"The hotel was small and very welcoming and the staff were always smiling and excellent from the first day to the last: remembering your name and answering all our questions. The room was an adequate size and nice but not luxurious but the Balinese vibe was pretty. There was also two large wardrobes and lots of cupboards to store all our things. We appreciated the four complimentary small bottles of water each day. The aircon was a bit difficult to regulate and we had a couple of nights which were either too hot or far too cold. We really liked the pool area which wasn’t too crowded and had lovely shady spots. A massage at the spa was enjoyed on a couple of occasions as they were quite cheap. Breakfast was good but I would have liked some more vegetarian choices. We attended two of the themed evenings which were pleasant but food choices could be a little limited if you didn’t eat meat or like satay. I would recommend this hotel for a chilled stay with few children, lovely staff and nice spa treatments."
