"My stay was fine overall, and the staff—young guys—were friendly and helpful. That said, it’s a pretty standard apartment hotel, so I wasn’t quite sure why it’s rated so highly. As I was leaving, I was asked to write a review at the reception, which might explain it."
"Absolutely loved this hotel, the staff were super kind and friendly. It is within walking distance to the old town but I would say it is nicer to stay in the old town itself. "
"This was a very clean hotel. Staff was excellent and friendly. Alice was super sweet and helpful for my friends and I. Could not recommend this hotel enough. "
"It was nice staying there. Apartment was spacious, modern and well equiped. Manager Bruce and reception staff was very nice. House keeping was not good though. They didn’t clean room daily or when they did not properly. Overall it was a good experience."
"Excellent location and great staff. The breakfast has very good selection. The hotel is in good condition and well located to loca amenities. Old town market is in walking distance. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel. "
"This is a very nice place with great value for money. I've been to Hanoi many times and Truc Bach is one of my favourite areas - Very quiet, cleaner air and still near the Old Town. Location therefore is one of the main advantages of this place in my view.
Staff are very nice and react very quickly to wishes.
I recommend getting the zalo app for communication around the stay. "
"The property was well maintained and spacious. The hotel staffs were amazing. They spoke English well, provided very helpful information to navigate the area, eg. good food, shopping, and view points.
Apple, the hotel staff, was very sweet and friendly. "

Solaria Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We only stayed for one night (before our flight home from Hanoi), but we wish we’d have had more time in this beautiful hotel. The lobby area is vibrant and the rooms are stylish. What stood out to me - after staying in various different South-east Asian hotels over the last 3 weeks - was the powerful, adjustable shower head, the quality shower products, the powerful hairdryer with different settings, and the comfort of the bed and pillows. These things really make a difference!
Aside from the place itself and its amenities, one member of staff, in particular, stood out for her warm, welcoming, genuine nature: Susan. What an asset to the Solaria team! She was exactly the sort of person we wanted to be greeted by, after a long day of travelling, and was so helpful. "
"Everything about this hotel works perfectly. The location, rooms, staff and food are exactly right. The manager, Alex, is happy to "go the extra mile" to make sure that you have what you need and that you're well looked after. His team is friendly, helpful and all seem to be very happy. This is the fourth time I have stayed at this hotel, and it won't be my last. Location-wise, you are in easy reach of Hoan Kiem lake, good eating places and, if you're feeling brave, the train street.
I just need to say and extra 'thank you' to Alex. I don't think the word 'no' is in his vocabulary and this attitude just takes the stress out of business travel in Hanoi. When a promised delivery failed to arrive, it was Alex who go on the phone to DHL to find out what was happening and then made sure that when it did eventually appear it was sent on to my next hotel in HCMC. Exceptional service.
Sure, you can stay in grander hotels in Hanoi, but you can't get much better!"
"Absolutely stunning hotel in the middle of Hanoi old quarter. Everything was so easily accessible - from the Lake to the train street and everything in between! The room was gorgeous and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a healthy selection of Vietnamese delicacies. Totally recommended!"
"Great hotel with very helpful staff. Clean, modern rooms with great comfort. A true gem in the city, a little north of the Old Quarter. Hanoi is a noisy city, so please keep this in mind, but This does not affect thus great hotel."
