"Really happy with my stay. Half the price (£65 for Walnut Room) and twice as good as city centre chains. There was a bit of traffic noise (building is close to a busy road) but the room had character (v high ceilings), nice furniture, comfortable bed, was clean and in a good location. Easy to find fault in places but as someone who regularly works away for work, this is definitely a 'come back to'."

"Accommodation was great, clean and newly refurbished with spacious room and good shared kitchen/laundry facilities. Shortage of forks/mugs however in kitchen. Good location near university with lots of nearby buses and train to centre. "Where do I start? Hadn't seen the email sent out on the day of arrival with details on how to access the lockbox to get a key so spent ages trying to contact manager without success. No towels - asked for supply by lunch next day but none appeared. Checked out after 2 of 4 days booked because of noise from room upstairs. No sound insulation, very creaky bed and very "active" occupants. Checked out and requested refund for remaining two days but they refused. Only booked it because it was so...
