"We spent a wonderful week at Catalonia Royal Tulum in Playa del Carmen and loved it. This all-inclusive resort delivered great food, friendly service, and relaxing vibes.
Our room was clean and serviced regularly, staying fresh and comfortable. Dining was excellent with a large buffet (breakfast had tons of options) and four à la carte restaurants: Asian, Mexican, Steakhouse, and Italian. We especially liked the Italian and Mexican spots for their delicious food and atmosphere. There are multiple bars and an exclusive restaurant called Bloved that we didn’t try.
There are multiple bars throughout the resort offering a great variety of drinks. Our favorite was the swim-up bar located right in the middle of the pool — it was so nice and convenient for relaxing in the water while enjoying cocktails.
The staff were outstanding. Angeles and Quetzabel greeted us by name and room number every morning at breakfast, making us feel welcome. Everyone was warm and attentive.
The entertainment team kept things fun with dance classes, pool exercises, games, and professional nightly shows. Eddie and Paulina stood out among the big crew. DJ and dancing followed the shows late into the night.
Location is convenient — cenotes nearby and Tulum just a 10-minute drive away.
We left relaxed with great memories. Highly recommend Catalonia Royal Tulum for a Tulum-area trip. We’d definitely return!"
