"I had a terrible experience with Expedia and Hard Rock Hotel Cancun.
I accidentally booked the wrong Hard Rock property, then realized my group was at a different location and booked the correct one. This left me with two reservations for the same night. Within minutes, I contacted Expedia to cancel the incorrect booking and request a refund.
After multiple follow-ups, I was told the hotel did not respond, and I was stuck paying nearly $600 for a reservation I booked by mistake. Expedia said there was nothing they could do because the hotel wasn’t cooperating.
This is extremely frustrating. I acted immediately to fix an honest mistake, yet neither Expedia nor the hotel helped. I feel completely let down and will think twice before booking through Expedia again."
