"Dated furniture and decor. Room was comfortable and clean. Very quiet, you wouldn't think you were only yards from a main road. Ample car parking. Bus stop just outside main gate with plenty of buses into city centre. Breakfast was excellent. "

"I've stayed here a couple of times now and always found the hotel clean and the staff very helpful. As a cricket fan I found the pitch side view very special. "

"I stay here often, I like the hotel, it is convenient for business meetings etc. I don’t like the holding deposit. I don’t want to buy anything on credit and the deposit takes too long to clear! "

"The room was nice, a couple of biscuits with the tea and coffee would have been good. Also, more milk! Most staff were friendly and helpful. However, in the morning I wanted to buy a cup of coffee - not breakfast. And this seemed to present an enormous challenge! Reception staff said to just go through to the dining area but the first member of staff was flummoxed. Then the second member of staff wondered whether the coffee machine was on (!) A third member of staff took me over to the bar area...

"Less than 5 mins walk to City Square so perfect location. Checkin was so easy with staff so polite and helpful. They informed us we had been given a free room upgrade which was not only ideal but most unexpected. Room had a well equipped kitchenette bedroom and bathroom facilities all so clean. We had in all a wonderful weekend at the Chambers and would definately recommend a stay there. Big thank you once again to all the staff for making our stay so special. "Lovely clean very spacious room. Convenient for meeting friends and had good accessability facilities."

"There were faeces in the toilet, and the bowl was disgustingly filthy. The duvet cover and the spoons were dirty. Because the housekeepers had finished their shift, the receptionist had to clean the toilet bowl and change the duvet. I've stayed at this hotel before in the same room and it was spotless, hence my return there. I definitely won't be staying there again."

"Amazing welcoming at the entrance, room was spotless an had everything you need for a stay with no worries.Will suggest a bath robe but apart from that we are happy with our stay"
