These suites are in an excellent location close to historical sites, shopping, restaurants and bars. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and with all the facilities needed for a lovely stay. I would certainly recommend the Giubbonari Suites and would stay there again should I be lucky enough to return to Rome.

Great spot to stay! Fun way to get into the building & to our room. Really nice room & bathroom. Walk in & out of the building right into shopping & dining. Pillows could be softer is my only complaint. I would stay here again.

The property was ok for a couple nights stay its main highlight is its Great location! most attractions are within walking distance, all amenities worked fine slightly small floor space but none the less manageable!

We had a nice stay here while in Rome. Within walking distance to the major sites (Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, etc.). The shower was lovely! Located right on a street with lots of dining and shopping options. The check in process was very easy and explained very well. Would stay again if we come back to Rome!

Dirty room at good location.

Room not ready at check-in time, dirty room, misleading parking information. Be aware: this is not a real hotel – it’s basically an apartment split into rooms. The owner answers messages quickly, but shows no empathy and only seems interested in squeezing money from guests. We booked this place because Hotels.com clearly advertised free parking within 200 metres. On arrival, we were told there was no parking at all. We had to leave our car on the street, where our belongings were stolen. Afterwards Hotels.com quietly changed the listing and now deny responsibility, even though I have proof of the original ad. Overall: unprofessional, false advertising, no service mindset. Save yourself the stress – there are plenty of better options in Rome.

Great area of town and a good nights sleep!

Basic room was clean and well kept in an excellent area of town. Windows were sound proof and AC was good and quiet to allow a great nights sleep. Thankfully they sent us a video on how to self check in. Did have to some stairs with our cases. Very sparse on the toiletries and towels supplied.

Avoid at all costs!

Our stay at Guibbonari Suites was a complete disappointment and I strongly advise future travelers to avoid this property. Upon entering our room, we were immediately overwhelmed by an excessive and suffocating amount of artificial room perfume, seemingly sprayed in large quantities by the cleaning staff. The scent was so strong it caused headaches and clung to our clothes, making it impossible to relax. My girlfriend, who suffers from asthma, found the environment physically intolerable. We contacted the hotel for assistance but received no support whatsoever. No staff were present during their posted hours, and our emails went completely unanswered. We had no choice but to leave the property and pay for a room at a different hotel for the night—an entirely avoidable expense had the hotel taken any responsibility. Additionally, the room itself had a persistent musty, mold-like odor, suggesting deeper cleanliness and maintenance issues. The overall cleanliness was subpar, and the air conditioning unit was so loud it made sleeping nearly impossible. The complete lack of responsiveness and professionalism from the staff only compounded the problems. Guibbonari Suites fails to meet even the most basic standards of hospitality and guest care. For the sake of your health, comfort, and peace of mind, I strongly recommend booking elsewhere.

We really enjoyed our stay here for our honeymoon. It is one of the very best locations to stay in Rome. The entire stay we did not have to take a single taxi or bus expect for to and from the airport. Every single tourist attraction and historical landmark is within a 20 min walk. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Also the staff was super friendly and helpful with anything that we needed. Highly recommend this hotel!!

Great location and rooms were generally ok. Checkin instructions were sent in advance and had no issues with access to the property or rooms. Only downside was room next to the reception and there was a constant noise from broken equipment (air conditioning unit or fan etc) which disrupted sleep on the final night. We reported and they will get it fixed.

Location and service were exceptional. Staff helped arrange transportation to the airport and was responsive. I was disappointed when first going into the room. It had an odd smell, the walks were so scratched and dirty on the baseboards. I honestly felt like I walked into a motel 5. The toilet had green mold from sewage. I honestly thought the room would be different. Once we opened the windows and walked outside we forgot about the room and once again felt in Rome.

This property was in a good location for walking to restaurants and sights. The room was clean. The beds and pillows were very hard, so sleeps were not great. It wasn’t what I was expecting- thought it was a hotel but maybe more defined as bed & breakfast? (Breakfast not included but you can add on as an option I think). The staff are only present from 9-2pm but were very good with communication.

Highly recommend. Located perfectly in the center near everything, very nice air conditioning. Also, very detailed and prompt communications through WhatsApp was exceptional. Only minor drawback was that the beds were VERY hard.
