"Every staff member we interacted with was spectacular. Housekeeping in the room ensured a clean space, fresh towels, and turned down bed every day of our stay. The shade blinds and blackout blinds were like new, and the HVAC worked great. Dust around the ceiling sprinkler, peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, and historic elevator sounds while riding the lift were clues that the property wasn't as new as it otherwise appeared. "The hotel was very conveniently located just south of Central Park and walkable to everything we wanted to do on our trip. Our room was spacious (by NYC standards), clean, quiet, cool, with good light and a skyline view. We had to request a voucher to get the self-park rate at the local garage, but had no issue when paying for parking and leaving. The total kindly gave us a late check out of 12pm and stored our luggage for free after checkout. It was a pleasant, hassle-free experience."

"Toilet is shaped weird. But other than that beautiful hotel. Staff was friendly. The lobby is nice to just sit in. Literally right next to all the sights. I went for Broadway and that was less than 5 mins. Would definitely stay again. Just be aware of the traffic outside of the hotel. In the day time they only allow specific drivers and deliveries."
