"Hotel is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Rooms were fine, with enough space and necessary facilities. We needed three rooms, and staff had arranged that they were three adjacent rooms, which was good. "The outside looks a little tired We had a very warm welcome on arrival Check in was quick and easy We were shown to our room (10) the man made polite conversation. The room was a good size but very dated like staying at your grandma’s. The room was very clean, the towels were white, clean and soft. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well. "This was our 2nd stay when visiting Portsmouth for gigs. The hotel team are always very freindly and helpful. The breakfast is always good with good selection of fruits and juices to compliment ( if you actually have room). Free parking on a 1st come basis. All in all a great place to stay when in Pompey!"

"There were no adjoining rooms like we were told we could request. Air conditioning was not working. We were given fans but the windows were broken and unable to open to circulate air. There were no laundry facilities or pool like the website suggested. Our family room that was supposed to sleep 3 by using a bed and pull out sofa did not work for us since the pull out sofa was determined to be unsafe and not usable."

Better than average bathroom (for English hotels). Dining room nice. A/C was "under maintenance" on the hottest day of the year else would give 4 stars. "A lovely little hotel a couple of minutes walk away from the beach and 10 minutes walk from the theatre and restaurants. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable … quite a small bathroom but fine for a night’s stay. It was quite warm in the room and we couldn’t open one of the windows as the latch was broken.
