"Lovely New Forest pub. Very friendly atmosphere. Large clean room, comfy bed, modern bathroom. Very quiet at night. Big breakfast, varied evening meals and excellent beer. New Forest ponies on the green and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's grave two minutes up the road! Excellent value. Really enjoyed our stay, thanks."

"Pleasant indoor and outdoor spaces, room 3 in attic ,not suitable for above average height (low beams) not mentioned when booking. no biscuits, water or remote for TV and no fan provided during heatwave.Food purchased was of a poor standard and overpriced. Found staff to be very inexperienced."

"Oak Tree Rooms was an excellent base for our New Forest weekend. I think the only drawback was the other people staying - they did like a loud conversation through a locked door, which was quite annoying! Other than that, the rooms were very comfortable indeed."
