"Amazing staff and perfect family hotel for exploring Hollywood. Free sodas, ice cream, snacks and of course the legendary popsicle hotline. Nice to have a room with microwave and oven so we could cook for ourselves (there is a Target 10min walk away). Rooms are looking a little tired but that shouldn’t impact the overall experience."

"Excellent stay when visiting Universal Studios. The hotel shuttle bus runs constantly. The bed was just okay, but we slept well. The pool was busy with kids in the Jacuzzi too. The tables weren't cleaned after guests left and there was trash. The pool was heavily used that day. It was heated which was nice. Parking was easy. Would stay again for the location to the park"

"They have barely any parking and there’s nothing on their website that says limited parking spots, so it is very frustrating that I had to park in a mall parking lot instead of in the hotels parking lot!"

"We ended up paying more than $350 for a one night stay, not at all worth it. Had a unpleasant experience from the check in time itself. The person at parking was not at all welcoming. Front desk lady asked us to pay $45 to park on the property (with or without Valet option), sounded rude. AC was very noisy and would turn off automatically in the middle of the night. You don’t have a microwave in Standard Room (with 2 queen beds). Even after specifying we are family of 4, they still end up...

"We stayed at The Aster while attending a show at the Pantages, and the location couldn't have been more convenient. The hotel was very clean, and our suite was spacious, but several aspects of the stay were disappointing. Upon arrival, we were asked for our full name three separate times—by the valet, front-door security, and the front desk—this felt excessive and unnecessarily repetitive. The front desk was efficient but not particularly welcoming; there was no effort to engage with us about...

"The location of this hotel was perfect, and it was a short walk to everything we needed. Having the laundry in the room was great, especially as we were there for a week. The room and property itself was clean, but the sidewalk outside the fence was not. Regularly we had to step over garbage and waste to leave, and there was a pile of trash there for several days (not the property’s fault, but still worth noting). The codes on all the doors were a bit confusing and sometimes difficult to use....

Laundry room was stinky, floor was wet, dirty laundry was pilled up from the room’s bedding, I didn’t get to wash my laundry the washer had a smell and if you need to workout there was nothing in gym but a treadmill."
