"If you want to be in the middle of one of the many aspects that make NYC unique this is the hotel for you. A lot of the staff were helpful and kind. I would book this hotel again."
"We walked down 7th Ave to the hotel with our suitcases from Penn Station, even though we could've caught the subway #1 going South. We were able to walk to Times Square to catch Broadway shows. A "highlight" was the High Line Trail in Chelsea, not far from the hotel.
The staff was always friendly and helpful. We were able to have a simple breakfast of muffins/bagels and coffee/tea. The hotel felt safe because the police took their morning breaks in the breakfast room.

"The Jewel was the perfect spot to stay for a long weekend. We could walk to everything. It’s clean, quiet, has cozy bedding and refillable water bottles which is so nice. We will be back!"
"The entry door to the room was difficult to open and appeared that the door might be warped from the frame. Just took a little pull to open but no big deal. The bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way but no big deal. The bed was amazing, the service was outstanding and the location was perfect. Overall I will be staying again in this location in the future. "
"I'm thankful that there are still thoughtful, gracious human beings with beating hearts like Janet still employed in a great city like New York City to welcome guests and manage their check in process. I stayed (again) at the Grand Central location. Janet is a gem.

He thought a minute, then suggested a shoe repair shop around the corner. Belts!! Excellent kosher pizza and sandwich shop across the street. 15 min walk to Central Park. Will return. ❤️"

"Facility fee even though there is no fridge available in the room so we cant store any food. Millenium next door the Premier staff is much better and helpful. (Hector!) They refunded out of courtesy. That means Millenium Broadway admitted that they are lack of courtesy and did nothing about it. Just stay at Hyatt or anywhere else nearby for similar price. This hotel is just good for location. Bit old."
