"The overall stay was good but I just wish the check in process were better that they could have inform us a little bit earlier before we arrive or checked in. I emailed them before arrival but they reply really late. We stayed there from Sunday to Wednesday and there's a change in the gate code to get inside the building. They never informed us. They told me to email me the new code instead of just saying it directly and I waited for their email which never came. So I have to call them and ask...

"Adorable historic boutique hotel! Recently renovated with a fantastic location on the Duro river and a nice breakfast. Be aware… the property is NOT staffed after 10 pm. So check in earlier than that. We checked in late in the day and needed to wait outside for the staff member to come to the property. We were a little thrown off by that. "I loved my stay here. The room was clean and cosy, with a cute little window seat. I don’t mind traffic noise so that didn’t bother me. Bathroom was a bit of a tight squeeze, but if that’s the worst I can say it’s a pretty good sign. Bed and linen were comfortable and yes there are stairs, but again if you know in advance you can plan accordingly. I found the staff to be super friendly and the surrounding area couldn’t be better for a Porto visit! "

"Lovely quirky boutique hotel right by the River Doura and in the middle of all of the restaurants and liveliness that area holds. Good continental breakfast included. Short walk via the lower bridge to visit Gaia and the wine cellars on the opposite side of the river. Perfect spot for our 5 day trip. Only drawback was lack of view from our room and some noise from the hotel and restaurants below."

"We loved everything about the Property once we got there but getting there was a nightmare. The traffic was horrible, parking was far away from the hotel so we had to drag our bags to the hotel.
