"I had a wonderful stay in this room in Venice. My family and I was warmly welcomed, and the room was absolutely beautiful and spotless. The staff did an excellent job, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I’d like to give a special thanks to Emelda, who welcomed us for breakfast—she was so kind and attentive. "This hotel is on the other side of the canal, and they only allow you to cross without paying during a six-hour window from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. After that, you either have to pay a very high amount of money to cross the canal or take a long walk around just to get back to the hotel. "The hotel was lovely but be forewarned that what the hotel calls a king/double bed room is a European king size which is 64 inches instead of a US king which is 76 inches wide. Hotel was gracious when we pointed it out but we were expecting a US King. "Very nice place in an old building that brings unique experience in a small space. Convenient location with everything you need and easy walk or water ride around Venezia. We had room with a balcony on the canal that was wonderful, great place to seat down at the end of day or in the morning with the coffee."
