"Loved everything about this hotel -- location and the room itself was so cute. The only issue I had was there was some miscommunication regarding an issue we needed resolved. The reps from the hotel texted back and forth with me about it before we left, but the issue was never solved really. They did call later to try to follow up, but we were already on our way. I did appreciate the effort to follow up though. Overall, a nice place."

"I expected a better place for the amount of money we paid per night but I guess Bar Harbor is a very expensive destination. The room was ok. The shower head was broken and there was no hair dryer. Both issues were taken care right away. It was nice that they offered complementary snacks and drinks. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. Easy 10’ walk to restaurants and waterfront"

"Great, helpful and friendly staff!!! Great price and location. Only issues were very minor, and any issues that were addressable were immediately remedied. We were also aware before arriving that the pool is no longer available, although it is not physically removed as of yet. Note that it is a slightly older hotel, so if you have mobility issues, be sure to request a ground floor room, since there is no elevator to the second floor. There is a small cafe room serving (in the morning) free...

"Awesome spot, beautiful views. Nicely laid out rooms. Pool was really cold, not heated much at all. Trash piled up in every can around the hotel. Breakfast was decent."

"We love the staff at the property!!! Michelle at the front desk made us feel like part of the family. She made sure our every needs were fulfilled and always went out of her way to help us. Dannette is the encyclopedia of the area. She shared her knowledge of the surrounding harbors and we loved all the places off the beaten path she recommended. We normally wouldn’t stay at a motel, but we had a hard time to say goodbye at Anchorage Motel!"

"I stayed 4 nights. No cleaning was provided even after asking multiple times. There is No coffee available. Coffee pods were out of stock on day 1 and Reception people keep on saying next morning.. which never came. Try other options. Not worthy of the price paid."

"What a perfect location, walkable to everything in town and 10 min to Acadia. Our room was spacious and clean. Would highly recommend! Oh and the blueberry pancakes, and scones are killer."

"We stayed here due to cancelled flights, it’s a lovely property in the middle of Bar Harbor with lots of walkable areas to explore. Their front lawn is a popular gatherings spots for drinks and live music. Only issues was they wanted to kick our friends out of the lawn if they didn’t order a drink and the free breakfast is just muffins and juice."

"Our room wasn't properly cleaned when we arrived. We found lots of personal items left behind from the previous occupants. There were other issues, but prefer not to go into detail. The staff did not care about this when they were brought up and asked what they wanted me to do. It is not my job to do their job. Stay was underwhelming and definitely not worth the nightly rate we paid for the resort."
