"Let’s me start with the positives Location was excellent near two main stations The interior was spotlessly clean and the bedding was fresh. . The bathroom was up to a high standard although the side of the basin had lost part of its veneer Toiletries were well supplied and the shower excellent with almost instant hot water .Tea and coffee and cutlery etc had been left available
On the negatives the approach in the basement walkway was untidy with some rubbish The key safe was hard to read the...

"The staff was friendly and responsive when we reached out ahead of our stay. The room was small but clean. Our room was on the basement level, so we were worried about lighting. But it was bright, well lit. The weather was unusually warm but our room never got stuffy. There were windows on both sides of the room, so we got a nice cross breeze. We were close to the train station (a requirement for us) and taxis were readily available nearby. Plus, lots of places to eat within walking...

"I must have not read the description properly or some facts were omitted! My room was on a rickety third floor - no elevator and had to drag my luggage 3 flights of stairs! My bathroom was not en-suite - which meant I was given keys to a separate toilet and shower down the rickety corridor! No bathrobe in the bedroom which meant I had to go to the shower dressed in pants and t- shirt.
However a very good breakfast with choice of fruit, yogurt and rolls as well as a cooked English...

"The service of the staff is exquisite, downright perfect. The room itself is small, but cleverly done. Bear in mind these ancient townhouses are limited when it comes to space. But they are able to fit everything you need in the rooms, and even make it look fashionable. Many nice little perks. "Everything was fine but sadly on the morning of my stay, a guest from another room was able to get into my room using their key card (honest mistake by the guest, not their fault!) and I was in the shower! Not impressed. Fine for me, because the person was very shocked and left immediately. I would not like to think others, particularly thinking of vulnerable groups, would have experienced this. Will be raising with management."

"Great location to Kings Cross Station / short walk to shops and restaurants
On arrival we couldn’t get the air conditioning to work thank you Jo who was so helpful and made sure it was all sorted.
Really friendly staff and a lovely boutique hotel.

"It was a third floor room with no lifts. It smelled like someone had smoked when we entered. The bed was a small double bed and uncomfortable mattress. Both of us had back pain the next day and very disturbed sleep for only few hours.
The “en-suite” was 4ftx2ft with no gap between the shower cubicle and toilet. My knees were pressed against the door when using the toilet and I am not even tall.
There was no soap in the bathroom. There were no photos displayed of this bathroom on the Expedia...
