"Had to pay a fee to access room before 3:00 although room was obviously ready and available. That was a turn off. Otherwise, we liked the hotel and pleased with their location and staff. "

"Great place to stay for a cruise the next day. Beds were comfortable, breakfast amazing and nicely located to walk to pubs and restaurants. Great view of the wall ruins from our room. Downside was no elevator and a bit confusing as to where the front desk was to check in. Turns out it is right when you walk in the restaurant. A bit tired so doesn’t look as clean and had to navigate around linens in the hall to check out. But all in all a good stay."

While on bith occasions we arrived at the hotel well ahead of normal check-in time, we only had to wait a short time until our room was available. This was very good as it was tiring after a long journey. The hotel is convenient for cruising from Southampton as it is only a short distance to the ferry terminal, but the hotel provided a complimentary transfer on the embarkation day. "The staff & host was very helpful especially with getting us a taxi to the cruise ship. The hotel is in a good location to walk around. Room was spacious with a king bed & two chairs with a small fridge. You do pay for parking a car but had a lot of room. Good options for breakfast."

"The location was great, but the hotel itself was very disappointing. There was a smell of cigarette smoke throughout the building. The room was smaller than expected. Bathroom facilities were acceptable. Breakfast was advertised until 10 o’clock in the elevators however that was only Saturday and Sunday hours. It ended earlier on weekdays. Very few options. Coffee, tea, juice, fruit, sliced cheese, sliced meat. No eggs I would not recommend this hotel"
