"Arriving in the charming village and then pulling up to Buckland Manor was a dream! Every detail has been seen to with lovely staff, well furnished rooms, gorgeous peaceful grounds. We could pop on many walking paths right from the door and roam the countryside. One wouldn't need to leave this property for days with every need met beautifully. Exquisite!"

"Very clean, we had a small double room which was fine for a couple of nights, very modern and location was perfect. Would have been nice to have a couple of bottles of water the local coop shuts on a Sunday at 4 so there is nowhere to buy water apart from the pubs. Would definitely stay again."

"Luxurious room! We splurged for the nicer room and wow! Wonderful staff, good beer selection. We needed to leave early the next morning so the chef packed us a picnic breakfast with lots of fruit, a blt sandwich, crackers and jams and cookies. Ate it on a hill overlooking a field of sheep and the town below. So memorable!"

"I originally booked my stay at the Rising Sun Inn because I was in the area to see Van Morrison. What I didn't expect was how much I'd enjoy everything else the hotel has to offer. The inn was comfortable, welcoming, and a great base for exploring the beautiful countryside. One of the highlights of my trip turned out to be the wonderful hiking opportunities right around the hotel. "Lovely, character-filled coaching inn. Room was clean with delightful toiletries and in-room coffee/tea options, and quiet. Bed was an utter delight. Really comfy. Included breakfast was good, and I also had a delicious dinner. Drinks could be enjoyed in the courtyard or bar. Quite lovely. The staff was great. Everyone was helpful and professional. There is no air-conditioning, but a fan was provided."

"The property was ideally situated in the Cotswolds countryside. Hotel was spotlessly clean, room was well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast which was included, was wonderful plenty of fresh fruit yogurts etc as well as a several cooked breakfast options. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and it was wonderful. Would absolutely recommend Hyll, it is a stunning property."
