Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Great trip for the family. My kids love the pool. Sad that we didn’t get to enjoy the beach due to the seagassum. Another thing is that the bathrooms are not kid friendly for handicap friendly. It will like climbing a mountain to get into the tub. We definitely could have used a step stool to get into and out."

"This was our 6th visit to this resort, and one of the main reasons we keep coming back is how family-oriented it is. The staff and atmosphere make it a wonderful place for families, and we've always enjoyed our stays. One thing to be aware of is that if you book through certain third-party websites, be very careful when selecting your room. We learned that booking this way can affect your eligibility for VIP or priority status, even if you're a returning guest. Unfortunately, that means you may miss out on some of the benefits that normally come with that status. It's not necessarily the resort's fault, but it's something future guests should keep in mind when making their reservation."

"Amazing resort with beautiful grounds, countless palm trees, and incredible wildlife. Seeing iguanas and colorful birds every day made our stay even more special. The food was excellent, with plenty of delicious options for every taste. The staff was welcoming, everything was spotless and well maintained, and we can’t wait to come back!"

"Angelica and Yicel checked us in and introduced us to Olibert as our local host. All very prompt, friendly and hospitable. Grill 2087 for lunch and had tuna ceviche which was good but very sweet teriyaki style sauce on it, aguachile shrimp was also very nice and refreshing. Arrachera was undercooked in our opinion and floppy, not a nice grill/char as we would like. Green enchiladas were just okay. Room was beautiful. Pool water was a bit too warm and not cool and refreshing in July. Stairwells were a bit dirty and room service trays left outside of guest rooms where animals were rummaging through it. Avec and Mi Carisa were our favorite dinners. Entertainment was nice. We got beautiful hats made. Really pretty fourth of July celebration with fireworks, entertainment and dinner. We loved our stay and would be back again."

"This resort was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Jose, who was our waiter on several occasions, always provided warm, attentive, and exceptional service that made our dining experiences even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and our favorite dining experience was at the Hibachi restaurant. The chef was entertaining, engaging, and made the meal a lot of fun for both the adults and the kids. There are just a few things I hope the resort considers improving in the future. The Kids Club family time is scheduled from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., which is the hottest part of the day. It might be more enjoyable for families if it were offered earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon. The buffet also closes from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. while transitioning between menus, which isn't ideal for families with younger children who may need to eat during that time. Lastly, the rooms felt a bit warm during the hottest part of the day, even with the thermostat set to 23°C. Overall, our family had a wonderful vacation. Despite these minor issues, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return."

"Hotel is very clean and pretty. Location is really good 10 min walk into the town area. Beds comfortable and the pillows are good. Shower has plenty of pressure and hot water. The barriers around the lagoon do a good job of keeping out the seaweed. Easy access to paddle boards and kayaks. Snorkelling gear is charged at $6 for 20 mins. Pools are good size with plenty of sun beds. If you want a breeze sit on the beach as you can’t feel a breeze around the pool. Lobby is open to outdoors so it’s warm and not somewhere to cool down and relax on a hot day. Appears to be a shortage of staff in some places. One man has been doing the pool bar and upper level bar which isn’t good. To get served in the pool you have to get out of the pool to go to the bar. No barman In desire at times so had to fetch someone to serve if we went in. Preferred area restaurants are closed for breakfast while we were there I didn’t check k the other meals. Firstly the restaurants are all in need of good air conditioning, especially the breakfast buffet. It is so hot in there. Never had this issue in a hotel of this class before. They are so hot and humid inside. USA 4th July night cake was stale and waiters were few and far between.food wasn’t good and was over or u cooked. The Wednesday it was buffet only no restaurants. We didn’t go and went out to eat after the July 4 buffet. Food in buffet I would say 2/5 at best. Lacks flavour, under or over cooked and some of it is dry."
