Hotel dekat The Anvil

"The room was comfortable and clean. With the heat wave going on, it was great to have air conditioning. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is very close to the town centre and local transportation. The staff were super friendly, kind and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again."

"The room is very tidy and clean. I find the room seems newly renovated. It was a cold night and I have the heater on and the room warm up very fast. The room was quiet at night even it’s a Saturday night. Quite a different narrative to the receptionist warn me while check in. Probably my room is at far end and facing other side."

"Good rooms and showers. The food we ordered"

"Overall: Good stay, but limited food options The breakfast here was really excellent — fresh, tasty, and plenty of choice. That was definitely the highlight of my stay. However, the lunch and dinner options are quite limited. The menu is mostly sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and steaks — not much variety at all. In my opinion, the food just isn't worth the price. On the plus side, the drinks are reasonably priced for a hotel."

"Spa is the worste ever.. Mould between the pool tiles.. Steam. Room. Door not working... In the room shower with mould... For. 4 stars is quite unexpected"

"it was fine but bed very small"

"We had a fantastic time , Jenny is a prefect host. We arrived in the afternoon, used they pool and garden, then the next day she allowed us to use the pool again after check out time. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and cosy. It was a very hot day/night, she provided a fan and we managed to stay cool. Turns out she comes from my home town, so we had a lot to chat about. We just needed some peace and quiet to relax after a difficult week. Thank you Jenny for a wonderful stay."

"Fab stay really helpful staff, also got a free early check in"

"Good size room with everything you need, really good breakfast"

"We have stayed here a couple of times , they go above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay, they also include an excellent breakfast plus another nice touch is the tipple in the room ,"

"Comfy stay and very well-located with a fabulous breakfast - will be back!"

"We chose this hotel/pub as it was close to the Bombay Sapphire distillery, I think most people staying were there for the same thing. We were not too sure what to expect as their communication has been awful, I emailed several times over the last few months and had no response at all. I had emailed and asked for an inside room after reading several reviews saying that the outside stable rooms were dark and dingy; needless to say when we arrived we were booked into an outside room! "I have stayed here a few times before. This time I needed to be at a meeting early in the morning so arrived at 9pm in the evening. We went straight to the bar to have a night cap. Unfortunately they were closing the bar “in 5 Mins” so only got one drink in before it closed. The air con in the room didn’t work so the small window in the room was all I had. Which means I had the curtains open to let as much air in as possible- not nice for a ground floor room that backed into cars. The electric...
