"We stayed for 2 nights in an executive room. Decor and furnishings were immaculate. Quality of fittings is very high end. The whole hotel was spotless. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and extremely helpful, from the doorman to the reception staff and beyond. Bar staff were very attentive and nothing seemed to be too much trouble at all. The area is great for transport links all over the city, with the hotel being a 3 minute walk from Liverpool Street station. We would definitely...

"Rob at breakfast is a star, but all staff are excellent. Breakfast is best in London probably. Room fantastic. Bed/pillow magically comfy. Rainfall shower is invigorating. Right next to Aldgate tube so easy to/from West End (Embankment) or Liverpool St (1 stop)"

"Good location right next to Aldgate tube station. Lovely hotel, very clean and great staff, extremely helpful. Food choices are not great and the worst chicken club sandwich I have ever had. Free bottles of water is great. This is located in the city so you need to bear in mind a lot of places are closed at the weekend, but you can find enough options in a 10 minute walk. Close to the Gherkin."

"We had a great stay at The cannon apartments. Communication was timely and informative. Location was great with the sounding area relatively quiet for central London. The apartment was well layed out with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The addition of bag storage was a small but very helpful extra. We were offered early check that really helped. Would gladfully stay here again."

"Really lovely staff on reception. Lynda upgraded us to an amazing suite as was my birthday treat. It was fabulous . Great location and lots nice places to eat nearby. Bed a little hard but reception said can ask for a mattrsss topper when you book it. Thoroughly recommend. "
