"Very friendly staff, clean room x "

"DO NOT STAY HERE!! I checked into The Residency Rooms Liverpool and was met with a terrible smell coming from the toilet, making the room unfit for habitation. I reported this immediately to Expedia, but the hotel was unresponsive and not answering calls from expedia. While Expedia eventually refunded the unused nights, the whole process was extremely stressful, and this property should not be listed on their site without proper checks. Very disappointed and would not recommend."

"Situated in a quiet location, overlooking a park and water and a short 8 minutes walk from the station. An excellent value and good quality breakfast. Rooms are reasonably priced. Parking available on site. Liverpool city centre is only 20 minutes by train running regularly all day and late into the evening. Staff were all polite, helpful and prompt when dealing with any queries."

"Lovely and very friendly hosts. Breakfast plentiful. B&B is on the other side of the river. Short uber ride did the trick. Quiet location. Old newspaper building so has character. The hosts have been doing it up over the years. Parts of the B&B could do with a bit of updating (eg paintwork on doors), but most importantly it's clean and spacious. Bathroom was new. Very nice breakfast area. Had a lovely short stay. "

"Very cold no heating had to ask then ask again They let us in to room early but it had not been cleaned so Covid is a bad risk as not been disaffected so would have rather left our stuff in the car until later"

"I recently stayed at the hotel for five nights and overall had a very positive experience. The staff were excellent throughout my stay—consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made a real difference. The hotel itself has a modern feel and is well located, making it very convenient. My room was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, which contributed to a comfortable stay. I also particularly enjoyed the gym facilities, and the availability of a laundry room was very useful....

"Clean room, staff were very helpful and smiley. Vu bar has great view, v especially on the balcony and the fish and chips was lovely. Beakfast was buffet and had everything on offer. I also paid extra to have a late check out. Will def stay here again."

"Stayed for two nights and had a great time. It was a family trip so having the pool was great considering the wet and windy weather on one of the days. Very close walk to the city centre as well as all the famous football grounds. Staff were absolutely superb. Would definitely stay there again."
