"The resort is beautiful. The downfalls were, there were no labels on any of the breakfast dishes so this made it hard. We noticed dog poo near us sadly as we were eating. Communication isn't the greatest - we were told they'd organise a car to the airport but hadn't realised that we had to pay the driver cash and so this made us rushed for our flight. There are bicycles you can use for free which is handy to go into town centre."

"Stayed in one of the junior bungalows with the stone clad internal walls and marble floor. It was a good size and comfortable. Breakfast was a simple affair, omelette, cakes , bread . Coffee variable . Normally breakfast served in outside but covered area but on one particularly wet morning it was served in the upstairs restaurant which looked like it could have done with a good clean . "We had the most comfortable stay at this family run homestay. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed and the bathroom is well designed. The food is excellent and prepared fresh to order. The breakfast menu is simple but sufficient. The dinner menu is expansive. They also offer laundry and pressing for a fee. The owner is extremely helpful and thoughtful. He really tried to help out, but clearly the bosses were the difficult people and just seighted and ignored us. They hated the idea they had to help us our t after 8pm due to our bad room. "The stay was exceptional. I’ve never seen natural beauty like this in my life. I truly enjoyed the hotel and Ninh Binh and cannot wait to be back. The only recommendation I have is the service was on the slow side. While at the poolside, we’d order food and drinks and it sometimes took up to 30-35 mins to have the items delivered.., same for dinner. Other than that everything was great"

"The couple who run this homestay are so nice and accommodating. They greeted us right as we stepped out of the van and helped with our luggage. He communicated with us via translator. There are bike to use for free and they make a wonderful breakfast of your choice daily. Anything we needed they were willing to help. "We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is clean. The owners ( husband & wife) are very very organised. The breakfast provided is filling too. You get a big bowl of fresh fruit with your breakfast, which was awesime. We did laundry there twice and they took care of it all for us. We also rented scooter from them for couple days and it was all easy process. The location of the place is also amazing. Near to everything but yet, a bit away from all the noise. "The room was very clean,however the sink,toilet and bath are all in one with any separation, there wasnt any available shower caddys for a comfortable shower,also the quality of the bathing soap needs improvement. The staff is fabulous, its a family owned and managed hotel. Tam Coc is within walking distance, Trang An isnt far away and there are lots of restaurants,bars and massage parlours around. I will stay again and I can recommend this hotel to others."
