Hotel Aima was a great place to spend 4 days in Tokyo. Large room including a queen bed, kitchenette, washer/dryer, dining table and sofa. Staff were very helpful. Only 100 m to the steps to Ueno Station, which easily connects to practically anywhere. A few minutes extra walk and you access the local markets or the large gardens & zoo.

Good location and useful in-room amenities, but very tight for 3 adults We stayed at Hotel Aima with three adults. The hotel photos do accurately show the room layout, but we were still surprised by how compact the room felt in person. The room seems very well suited to two double beds, but with an additional double bed for the third person, the space becomes quite tight. The extra bed was right against the desk, and since I needed to use the desk for work, I had to leave the desk area and push the chair underneath whenever someone needed to walk past. On the positive side, having a washer in the room was extremely useful, and we really liked the bathroom setup with a separate toilet, the shower had very good water pressure, and there is also a bathtub, which was a nice feature after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and their recommendations for nearby restaurants were very good. One thing to be aware of is that cleaning service is not provided during a three-night stay. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a convenient location and good amenities, but I would recommend the room more for two adults than three if you value space or need to use the desk.

We really enjoyed our stay in tokyo. The hotel had every thing we needed. Simple, but clean, so quiet, and the staff were lovely. So close to the station, and at night i felt totally safe. It was small, but as a family of 3 we were comfortable. The washing machine, bathtub, and kitchen were great too.
