"The biggest issue with all hotels in the USA for a international visitor is the incidental hold deposits which range from $50 up to $500 per night at some hotels. You need also to be totally transparent on your website and Official app what the holiday deposit is and that includes third party agents like Bookings.com and Expedia. These holds can take between 30 and 60 days to get back especially with a debit card. So the initial contact when the hotel is requested already creates a negative...

"This was such a delightful surprise. I have been booked in a different hotel across from strip mall and they had trouble checking me in because they would not accept Apple Pay. I quickly look for something nearby and I saw something that was closer to the beach. it was late, and I jumped in an Uber and arrived at this oasis. "Well maintained property, friendly staff, & utilizes text messages to communicate throughout your stay. Noticed they don’t offer a water station, when you look up amenities it mentions laundry facilities, but asked staff and was informed they don’t offer it any longer. Reached out via text to get housekeeping services and received a response but for some reason it didn’t take place."
