"This is an excellent location to enjoy all that Edinburgh has to offer. Super friendly staff. Rooms were clean and well stocked. Toiletries were top notch. We were even left lavender pillow spray! The king room was spacious by European standards and we had a little balcony with a view of the castle! One thing - the room didn't have AC so we had a fan on the desk. It was sufficient for early September but not sure about the summer months. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Breakfast was awesome, and the staff treated us very nicely. Everyone was always friendly, welcoming, and greeted us with a smile.
However, the room was quite small. Even after the daily room cleaning, body wash was not replenished. I also reported on the first day that two USB charging ports were not working, but even after two days, they were still not repaired.
I also tried calling a couple of times for room service, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone.

"Nous avions une chambre avec un divan-lit et un lit double. Le divan-lit était abominable. Le grillage sur lequel le matelas est déposé était complètement brisé.

"While the rooms were nice enough, they were nothing more than that. The actual living space was so limited that we often found ourselves bumping into things. The bed was placed so close to the wardrobe that getting to the other side of it was awkward and unnecessarily difficult. The room also had a very old window, which was difficult and inconvenient to open, and one of the bedside lights was not working.
I had hoped for a better standard of cleanliness. Having carpet in a hotel room already...

"I had many problems at this hotel but the final serious problem was that housekeeping knocked my CPAP machine off the bedside table to the floor. The water reservoir was cracked but more importantly the machine kept shutting itself off all night. "The location was good and convenient. However, unfortunately, there were several things that could have been better.
The breakfast provided was not good at all. It was basically just a small snack left in the room for us each day during the four days we stayed there. I would not consider this a proper breakfast.
Also, the bed was very small for two people, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably.
Overall, the location was a positive, but the breakfast and bed size were disappointing."
