"Great location. Helpful and enthusiastic staff, the reception and bar/restaurant staff are great and knowledgeable of the area.
Not a lot of nice or higher end hotels in Nanaimo to be honest and this is one of the most expensive, if not the most. Can’t say it’s worth the money on the whole. Paid over $550 for one night and the room wasn’t any more luxurious or have any features than a mid level hotel for half the price I’ve experienced elsewhere.
Fan is very noisy if you want the room cooler....

"The property is located in a beautiful remote quiet area next to a golf course. The room was spacious and clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel has no major amenities like a restaurant or shops, and there are no local shops or convenience stores. However, there is a burger restaurant across the street for breakfast, lunch, and dinner purposes - and the Westin Bear Mountain Golf Resort and Spa is right next door, for who can afford their amenities."
