The pictures were very misleading. Our room was very bare and the building shown in the main picture on Expedia website was definitely not the actual hotel. The hotel was in the middle of the street, but the picture showed what looked like a restaurant at the end of a building.

Location is great. We could walk to all sites we want to visit. The service is great. On last day, the owner told us how to get to the VCE airport which is very helpful. The only complaint is that it could get noisy at night on the street when you try to sleep.

Perfect location to see all the sights of Venice!

Fantastic location. Hotel was very charming, breakfast every morning was very nice. Very convenient to visit all the locations on our itinerary. Luca was a great help in letting us know what's happening locally, and directions to get around town conveniently. Had a wonderful time in Venice! Hope to come back!

This place is just amazing and conveniently located in the centre of everything! Plus it’s really close to the bus boat station that goes to the Marco Polo airport. Close to st marks square and the Rialto bridge. Would stay here again.

The Locanda is easy to find, despite being on a small lane. It is close to both the Rialto and San Marco, lots of shopping close. I really, a super location with a genial host.

Excellent location, 5min away from Rialto bridge, st Marc square, water bus station and many nice restaurants and cafes. Getting there was super easy from Marco Polo airport by water taxi directly to Rialto station. The owner “Luca” is very nice and helpful, checking in and out was very easy. Definitely would recommend staying there.

Worthy of gatekeeping, 10/10

The stay was great. The guy at the reception was very sweet and helpful. Hotel location is perfect for walking to places and easy to reach with luggage via waterbus, the room was spacious and looked nice, the upper floor had a nice view and the bathroom smelled freshly sanitized. 10/10 would recommend (or gatekeep)
