Exactly what we needed

Amazing location, clean, brilliant friendly service. Breakfast was a nice touch too. The brothers who run the hotel are always available via WhatsApp for any recommendations too.

Lovely little hotel right in the heart of Venice. Slightly quirky set up and the staff are very attentive. Unusually for Venice there is a left to help you get your luggage to floors, but due to its central location, getting your luggage to the hotel can be difficult. The private taxi we booked at the airport dropped us off at St Marks and we had to use a porter to get the bags (3 suitcases) to the hotel. Going back the hotel booked one and it picked us up 10m from the hotel door. Both really expensive ways to travel, but very romantic and certainly the latter being stress free. Alternatively just pack light!!!!

All the staff went out of there way to make you feel welcome, everything was done with a smile. The rooms are well decorated and spotlessly clean. Minutes from san Marco square, a little tricky to find at night due to the maze of small streets but well worth it. A great hotel would definitely use again, highly recommended.

Lovely hotel - staff were very friendly and were happy to answer any questions. Hotel was nice and modern but still with quaint Venetian style. Great location near to San Marco piazza, about 5 mins walk. Room was lovely - we had the one right at the top with a sky light where you can see the tower and across all the red rooftops - beautiful! Bed comfy (although it was two singles pushed together, but that’s quite common for Europe!) and bathroom newly refurbished with a nice powerful rain head shower. Hairdryer provided in room, and although there was no kettle, they brought one up for us when we asked. Breakfast served in small lobby area, which doesn’t really have enough room for all guests but you can choose to have breakfast brought to your room for no extra cost. Breakfast had a nice selection of bread, pastries, cereals, ham, cheese, etc as well as juice and hot drinks. Thanks for a great stay - would definitely recommend to friends visiting Venice!

Bon hôtel bien situé.

Un hôtel plein de charme à proximité de la place saint Marc. Nous avons eu la chance d avoir une chambre sous les toits avec vue sur la place. Malgré très calme et très propre, nous avons passé un excellent week end. Petit bémol pour les couples, 2 lits collés qui se séparaient sans arrêt... Petit dej pas terrible mais service plutôt sympa.

I don't know who would rate this hotel a 4.5! Absolutely awful. False advertising. It's a 16 ft square room with no window and way WAY over priced. Breakfast is a roll and if you ask you'll get a hard boiled egg. There are only 3 tables and we witnessed 2 couples being told to come back in 15 minutes or so. The room was clean but the shower was a plastic accordion pull thing. Don't waste your money on this one!

Great place in Venice.

Overall this was a wonderful place to stay. The room was a very nice size and the bathroom was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is also situated in a great location close to all the main sites.

Grazioso hotel a pochi minuti da piazza San Marco. Personale accogliente e gentile, stanze pulite e comode, locato in un vecchio palazzo veneziano ma ristrutturato a nuovo. Unico appunto sul bagno: la pressione dell'acqua era altalenante, causando continui cambi di temperatura in doccia, un po' fastidioso. Stessa cosa per le luci, si alzavano e abbassavano di continuo. In camera invece tutto ok.

60th anniversary treat

The amazing Venis can not fail to thrill, & Hotel was excellent , but the location for us was difficult given our age &mobility , we are both in our late 70,s & came to realise that although the spirit was willing the joints &a muscles took a battering with the terrain& crowds . We would love to be able to return but some how think it is beyond us . The staff at the Relais Venvenezia were superb, especially Dario , who organised a porter to take us to the water taxi to return home , would recommend this porter service both ways if your hotel like the Relais staff go that extra mile .

Great location

The hotel is located 2 minute walk from St Marks Square and 10 minutes from Rialto Bridge. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops, good shopping especially for leather. The hotel is a little tough to locate initially. It’s typical of Venice hotels. It’s in the old quarter, it’s small but well decorated and stylish. The price is good for Venice. But there are issues. The reception is also the breakfast area and it’s small, 20metres x 10 and 4 tables which is insufficient for the people staying there. Most mornings I had to wait for a space. There is no restaurant facility other than breakfast. The breakfast is sparse, cheese and ham, bread, hard boiled egg, cereal and coffee. The room was pleasant and clean but no kettle or fridge. But for the money and location it’s sufficient with helpful staff.

We had a phenomenal stay!

The hotel itself was initially challenging to find but so is everything else in Venice besides San Marcos square. Other than that, we loved the location as it was within 5 minutes of the square and about 12 from Per Rialto. Great place, great staff.

Perfect stay at Relais Venezia

Wonderful hotel located in a great and central location. St Mark's square and Rialto bridge are both within a very short walking distance which makes this hotel perfect for exploring the city. Service at the hotel was exceptional and everything was catered for without us even having to ask. Choice of breakfast to be served in your bedroom meant a relaxed start to the day. Spread of breakfast items was also good. Great hotel, with perfect service in a super location. Could not have asked for better.

Nice location.

Hotel is in a classic Venice building on a winding path. Close enough to St. Marks to walk comfortably. There are a lot of steps though to get to the rooms. Staff was great.
