Good location

The room and bathroom was small, but the bed was comfortable. Although it is a quite a hike with roller bags around venice to get to this location, it is close to the central canal. As you might expect, this hotel does not have an elevator so make sure you can carry your bags up the stairs! Breakfast was limited (cereal, toast, pastries).

Mysigt litet hotell med bara några få rum. Rummer var rymligt, lugnt och fräscht. Trevlig personal. Egentligen bara 2 små minus: trappan upp till rummen var liten och smal och det var en utmaning att få upp våra stora resväskor. Frukostmatsalen var mycket liten (bara 4 bord) och vi fick vid något tillfälle gå tillbaka in på rummet och invänta att vi skulle få plats. I övrigt är vi mycket nöjda med vårt boende alldeles intill Rialtobron

super lage nähe zentrum und 200 meter zur rialtobr

sehr ungünstig mit engen treppen mit koffer und knieprobleme ist diese treppe kaum zu schaffen keine neuen Handtücher beim aufendhalt Wolldecken ohne Bettwäsche darüber also habe ich mir 2 Flohstiche zugezogen

The apartment for me and for other friends was amazing! Very centrally located and beautiful apartment itself! Large living area with couch table, two TVs. Beautiful for a weekend trip or even more!

Gästehaus in zentraler Lage

Die Lage des Gästehauses ist für ein Kurztripp nach Vendig optimal. Menschlich auch alles sehr angenehm. Der Komfort des Balkonzimmers geht allerdings eher gegen null. Kein ausreichend warmes Wasser zum Duschen. Matratze alt. Steckdosen kommen aus der Wand bzw. hängen lose an den Kabeln..Dafür war das Personal aber wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Trotzdem keine Empfehlung von uns.

The room definitely needed to be cleaned better. There was dust EVERYWHERE. Behind the doors and under the beds and not just a little but a lot. We were only provided 1 roll of toilet paper for 4 women for 5 days. The gentleman that escorted us to our room said he would bring more back but he did not. We were able to stumble across a local grocery store to purchase more. The shower head in the bath room was broken. It would not stay up so you had to have in the floor and pick it up when you wanted to use it.

j arrive à l hôtel residenzia laguna vers 16 heure, la chambre n est pas prête me dit on , d un air embarrasse , on a de fait pas de chambre de réserve .je reviens à 17h 30 on va me changer d hôtel.ca ne me pose pas de problème bien situé.depart pour l annexe de l hôtel ( en fait pour l hôtel Canada) A l arrivée je comprends , dans les échanges entre les deux réceptionnistes que j ai déjà réglé ma réservation et que l hôtel residenzia laguna dédommagera l'hôtel Canada J avais réserve une chambre double supérieure et découvre une chambre double " inférieure " Non seulement j'ai été changé d hôtel mais j ai été déclassé. J ai réserve une chambre double supérieur à 108€et me voilà dans une chambrette qui s affiche à 43€ sur votre site internet

Disappointing

The condition of the room are totally different to the photos on the website, there is no air-con in the main bedroom which is very hard to sleep in the hot summer. we request for a fan, but they delivered the fan on the third night, for the first two nights four of us has to squaze to the living room. The bathroom is tiny, I have never seen, if you are big will not able to get in. Very disappointing.

Hotel overbooks

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon months in advance, but when we arrived, they were clearly overbooked. They moved us to a second hotel who moved us to a third....the "sister" hotel of the first, or so they said. It was nice and potentially in a better location, but there was no hot water the second day and it was intermittent and lukewarm for the remainder of our stay. Travels should be aware of this overbooking...they might not actually get to stay in the Residenza Laguna at the address they booked. We had to walk 15 min through the city to get to the other hotel...and go one stop on the vaporetto. The staff was very nice...helped us find places to go and we got a free boat ride to Murano island. However, given the lack of hot water and no response from the staff to correct it, we were disappointed at our second location and would not book with the Residenza Laguna again.

Hotel or apartment???

I booked a triple room for 2 people so that my daughter and I could have separate beds. The price included breakfast. I assumed this would be at Residenza Laguna as found on the internet. We arrived at hotel to be told that they only had 3 rooms and rest were appartments elsewhere in Venice. The apartment we then had to go to was fine in retrospect if you had requested it. Fridge not working. And we had thought we had breakfast included. So if you book this hotel I would advise you check what your actual accommodation is going to be.

Rien à dire sur l'hôtel , séjour en appartement.

Pour une sombre histoire de lit double ou de lits jumeaux auquel nous n'avons rien compris, nous nous sommes retrouvés dans un appartement certes plus grand qu'une chambre d'hôtel mais très éloigné de l'endroit que l'on avait choisi pour séjourner à Venise;appartement tellement sombre qu'il fallait allumer en journée, situé juste au dessus d'une pâtisserie/bar ouvert jusqu'à pas d'heure, très animé et très bruyant. Pas de lampe de chevet , des prises défectueuses (signalées)...Salle de bain très moisie mais ensemble très propre.Un problème de gestion des chambres, une mauvaise circulation de l'info nous a menés à cette situation. c'est dommage .Le personnel était cependant charmant et efficace Nous avions choisi parmi des centaines d'hôtels, une Guest House bien notée;on nous a promis les toits de la ville et une expérience vénitienne d'autrefois.Nous nous sommes retrouvés dans un appartement peu agréable forcés de surcroit de nous débrouiller pour les petits déjeuners.

Vi havde bestilt og fået bekræftelse på 3 enkeltværelser med hver sit bad og da vi kom var der redt op til 3 personer på eet værelse! Den venlige receptionist løste situationen den første nat ved at give os et dobbeltværelse, hvor to måtte sove i arm og et enkeltværelse. Næste nat var det det samme,dog var enkeltværelset nu et nyt sted. Tredje nat gentog det sig, så vi fik aldrig 3 enkeltværelser. Morgenmaden foregik på reposen! Vi havde betalt 2.000 kr. pr. nat - så det var ren svindel og vi kunne ikke få en kvittering ved afrejsen! Så vi kunne ikke bevise snyderiet og har modtaget en latterlig kompensation.

Fast übersehen

Für Unternehmungen in der Stadt mit kurzen Wegen zu den Wasserbussen ist die Unterkunft ideal. Ein Serviceangebot wie in einem "normalen" Hotel kann man in diesem mit 5 Zimmern sehr kleinen Haus nicht erwarten, da nur selten die Rezeption besetzt ist. Dafür ist der Preis günstig, die Zimmer ordentlich und sauber, die Atmosphäre gut.

Dont stay here!

We stayed in Residenza Laguna for 3 nights in August. From the hotel.com website it looked like the apartment was part of the hotel and the location would be next to/nearby the hotel but when we arrived, the apartment was in a different location, very noisy right by St Mark's Square. The bathroom was extremely small and would not have allowed a big person to enter. There was a room door locked, when we asked where this went, we were told by Carlo who met us that it was a storage room and we didn't need access. After our first night we had complained about the heat as there was no air-con or fan in the bedroom and the location was incredibly noisy with the window open. On our last day another man brought us a small fan and by chance he also brought the key to the mystery locked door which turned out to be the kitchen! On entering and opening the overhead kitchen cabinet door the complete door fell off and nearly hit my foot which could have undoubtedly seriously injured me as it was heavy ! I can only guess that the two facts might be related. We gave Carlo the city tax and as we didn't have the exact money he promised to provide us the change but even after sending him an email reminder we still didn't get the change. Overall we were very disappointed. We had spent a lot of time choosing our apartment and even after all that research we still got duped by misleading statements and photos about the accommodation and by uncaring and dishonest or incompetent staff...

I've not written a review before, but can't let our wonderful stay pass without comment. Carlo the manager could not have been more pleasant or helpful. The transfer from the airport was smooth and the location of the apartment was first class enabling us to access all areas of Venice really easily. The apartment was smart and clean and had all the amenities you would need for a short stay including excellent coffee. I am already planning my next trip to Venice with my family and we will certainly be staying at Residenza Laguna. Thank you to Carlo and Alice for making the stay so pleasant

Very nice comfortable SUPERIOR ROOM, situated just next to grand canal, very nice decoration with aircon. we surprised to have such a nice room with all comfort. thanks a lot to staffs of Residenza Laguna to make our stay very nice and comfortable.”

Apartment near San Marco

Delighted by location of small but adequate apartment just around the corner from San Marco. All four of us enjoyed the flexibility to soak up the magical atmosphere of Venice the way we wanted to: visiting main attractions any time, rarely needing to negotiate the packed water buses, wandering the maze of canals and alleyways, popping in to the apartment to relax whenever... just looking across rooftops and listening to the ebb and flow of the traffic-free street life below was fascinating and surprisingly quiet at night.

We were able to explore a lot of Venice because of our apartment's closeness to everything.

Good or bad?u decide!

I was supposed to live very near the Rialto bridge(that's y i pick this hotel) but when i arrived,the staff bring me out of the hotel and said the room is not there and bring me to the boat station.I asked where we should go and he said"San Mark Square",Oh no,that's another side!(although 15 minutes walking distance)I ask why and he said that's only their office,the room are at St Mark square!Ridiculous!!!How come?(i dont like st marks square)I guess probably there's not more room for us and the one at St Mark Square is only for back up....I m totally disappointed of the further arrangement as the traditional design of the hotel is one of the reason i picked it,but now they bring me to somewhere else...Luckily they gave us a apartment which is nice....but i m still angry of their arrangement!
