Langley Castle Hotel

Langley Castle Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"From the moment we arrived everyone at the castle was very friendly and welcoming. The castle is gorgeous! We stayed in the De Lucy room. It was lovely - exactly as pictured on the website. The castle guardian bears are adorable! What a delightful idea! The atmosphere at the castle is exceptional; we were only sorry that our stay couldn’t have been longer. I would recommend this property to anyone."

8/10 Good
"Large pub, nice bar/dining room, good decor, parking very handy, eleven rooms, we had a nice large twin bedroom, main road facing little noise good shower, toilet had poor flush, beds comfortable, wardrobe had a extra duvet which smell very badly of sick, i give it to the cleaner then open the windows not to bad after that. Nice setup for breakfast full breakfast not big but enough, staff very friendly. Pub very central for the town and surrounding areas, we were there for the weekend and went out on the Saturday night and found the eight or so pubs in the village were dead"

Battlesteads Hotel

Battlesteads Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay for two nights at Battlesteads. Two things really stood out - the food was excellent (except chips - a minor thing), and the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming without being overbearing. The last point, about how all staff were nice to interact with, was a major selling point and is why we will return. A special shout out to Dan ("Dan, Dan, the beverage man") for being so helpful and recommending Flyte - a top tip! Ad Gefrin sold two bottles to us as a result! Such a pleasant time, great food, and drink, and an impressive walking guide (which we used) and an observatory on the door step!"
